Formed in South Africa and then relocated in Berlin, Cherilyn tells us anecdotes about languages and how different audiences react after their songs. Here in Paris, we are the calm people with awkward silences. The songs from the last few records have been recorded with the help of Brent Knopf (aka “hero from Portland”), and there’s indeed this Portland-made footprint that can only please me. A mix of pop, folk, and fresh air.
