- Day 24 : Let’s Buy Happiness
This young band from Newcastle started the day James (guitarist) asked her sister Sarah to sing in his brand new band. Since 2009, the band have self-released a few EPs and have been quickly supported by local radio stations.
Fast Fast is a very catchy song, a perfect single for a band to distance themselves from other bands. Sarah’s voice makes everything lighter, it’s like you’re in running in a vast grassland.
Let’s Buy Happiness is one of these bands that do everything themselves, which is quite impressive considering their young age. They have their own label (Ghost Arc Records) and Sarah is in charge of the artwork. You can follow her work here.
Oh, and if you don’t know what to do in the next few days, the band is currently recording their debut album in the studio, and they’re updating their website (you can follow them on Tumblr!!!) everyday to let fans know how the recording is going. Expect funny videos, anecdotes and pictures.
